We are seeking an experienced Programs Coordinator to join our organisation. Reporting to the Team Leader, Learning for Life and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will manage and deliver one of our most valuable programs – Learning for Life. The role involves planning and implementing The Smith Family suite of Learning for Life programs within the community. You will need to be able to help facilitate successful delivery of the programs, including supporting the Family Partnerships Coordinator with the recruitment of Learning for Life students onto programs.

About our role

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining Partner School relationships and monitoring progress, planning and implementation, and feedback on programs and activities.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships with Schools, Industry Partners, and local businesses.
  • Continually monitor program delivery and ensure the database has accurate and up to date information.
  • Plan and forecast program delivery to ensure all targets are met at a local and state level.
  • Advocating for and answering enquiries relating to The Smith Family educational programs.

About you

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating programs/projects.
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining relevant partnerships.
  • Demonstrated experience in administration.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage and plan own work to achieve identified goals within time constraint.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience working collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
  • Hold a current driver’s licence.
  • Have or willing to obtain an employee Working With Children’s Check.
