We are seeking a well-organised and experienced Accreditation and Educational Initiatives Officer to support the delivery of external accreditation processes and contribute to the development and implementation of specific strategic educational projects and initiatives within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences.

THE ROLE

Salary Package: From $93,017 – $102,676 p.a. (HEW 6), plus 17% employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading

Appointment Type: Part Time, 0.8 FTE, Fixed-term (16 Months)

Location: Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde

About the Role

We are seeking a well-organised and experienced Accreditation and Educational Initiatives Officer to support the delivery of external accreditation processes and contribute to the development and implementation of specific strategic educational projects and initiatives within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences.

Reporting to the Educational Development, Governance and Initiatives Manager, and working with the broader Educational Services team and academic stakeholders, this role will oversee the administration of end-to-end accreditation and reaccreditation processes for the Faculty. The role will liaise with external accrediting bodies and central university offices and committees to facilitate diverse accreditation functions, including drafting submissions, coordinating site visits and monitoring and reporting against standards and/or conditions. This position will also play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of specific academic and education projects and initiatives through project planning, and undertaking benchmarking, research, data analysis and development of recommendations for consideration by the Faculty.

About You

You will have an thorough knowledge of and proven experience in the coordination and administration of accreditation processes, including the preparation of accreditation documentation, drafting of comprehensive reports, papers and/or submissions. Your experience in interpreting and providing advice and information across a range of standards, policies and procedures; strong project planning skills; strong relationship management skills; time management and oganisational skills and ability to coordinate and deliver on competing deadlines will be key to success in this role.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or extensive relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of accreditation processes with experience in interpreting and providing advice across a range of standards, policies and procedures.

  • Experience in undertaking research, data analysis and benchmarking.

  • Experience in the preparation of accreditation documentation including drafting comprehensive reports, papers and/or submissions.

  • Strong project and time management planning skills including the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project plans and planning cycles to meet competing deadlines.

  • Strong customer service focus and ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
