Job Description:

The Department of Political Science and International Relations requires an adjunct instructor for a section of UNV102, a freshman seminar course, entitled “Making Citizens” for the Spring 2024 term.



  • A PhD in Political Science or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a depth of understanding of issues concerning citizenship, sufficient to design and teach a freshman college class composed of a variety of majors.
  • The position also requires a demonstrated capacity to teach successfully at the college level.
