Position Summary & Dimensions
Summary
The Adventure Sales & Marketing Manager develops, implements and adjusts accordingly, the sales and marketing strategies and plans, analyzes market trends and manages relevant outreach and marketing campaigns. A significant portion of this position prospects and nurtures customer relationships to ensure that our annual earned revenue goals are met and that our adventure offerings are in alignment with market interest, organizational goals and capacity.

Classification Starting Range: $60,500 – $72,000, depending on experience
Reports To: Director, Sales and Development
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Environment: Hybrid, with some days reporting to the Wilderness Inquiry office in Bloomington
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibility 1: Adventure Sales, 50% FTE.
Serve as the lead sales representative for private and public adventures:
Responsibility 2: Marketing & Outreach, 40% FTE.
Develop and lead adventure sales outreach and marketing efforts.
Responsibility 3: Planning & Data Management, 10% FTE.
Facilitate the development of the annual Adventures Sales & Marketing Plan and Monthly/Quarterly benchmark meeting
Responsibility 4: Embrace Values, Community Agreements, and Other Roles/Responsibilities as Assigned.
Perform all job responsibilities in a manner that centers Wilderness Inquiry values and supports a healthy, safe, and productive work environment for all employees, adhering to our Workplace Community Agreements.
