Finance Associate – 2-5 PQE Top 15 International firm | Legal 500 Banking & Finance | London | £100,000 – £115,000 The firm / team: · Successful candidates can look forward to joining one of the largest law firms in the world, based in London, looking to strengthen their Finance offering with the addition of a talented associate. · They are considered to be amongst the leading law firms in the world for Banking & Finance law, ranked throughout the Legal 500 for Finance, Lending, Securitisation, and High Yield, in London. · You will be joining a specialised team, who handle a broad range of finance matters across a range of sectors, for Energy, Infrastructure, Transport, and Renewables. · This is a hardworking firm, offering a market-leading salary with a reasonable chargeable hours contribution. The role: · As a Finance Associate within the team, you can expect to undertake a broad range of work with a supportive collegiate department. · The firm are looking for someone capable of developing into a trusted advisor to their biggest clients, such as commercial, development, and funds institutions, in addition to government bodies. · The team act for a number of major UK clearing banks, in addition to other European and investment banks, certain independent financiers and investment funds. · You will be acting on all types of facilities from acquisition finance, leveraged finance and real estate finance to asset based lending, securitisation and debt capital markets. · Depending on experience, you will be expected to advise a varied number of both funders and borrowers with regards to the financing elements of their transactions. About you: · Applications are sought from talented Associates with at least two years’ post qualification experience, gained in England & Wales or a similar, leading common law jurisdiction. · You will possess strong academics, and a confident understanding of commercial litigation law, ideally from a Top 25, or Legal 500 background. · Candidates should have strong organisation skills and a keen interest in joining one of the world’s largest law firms Benefits: · Salary package of £100,000 – £115,000 · 25 days annual leave. · Bonus scheme. · Enhanced maternity and paternity pay. · Cycle to work scheme.
