This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 31st October 2024 and
is part of a project led by the University of Exeter. It is funded by UKRI and forms part of
National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Research Programme.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK. We welcome applications from candidates interested
in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements.

Summary of the role

The Business Development Manager will work on a newly funded sector-focused Circular Economy
network programme within the CE Hub. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with
outstanding business development skills who can build and manage up to five CE sector-focused
networks. You will work with the CE Hub co-Directors to establish the five networks and deliver
new business development opportunities and outcomes aligned to the overall objectives of the
NICER programme.

The sector based networks are designed to increase the reach and impact of the CE-Hub to
influence CE adoption and implementation across sectors at scale. The post will draw on the
expertise and capabilities from the CE-Hub and the wider NICER programme but is intended to
drive new opportunities and new sectors beyond the current work programme. The aim is to create
a world-leading cluster of research-active, highly innovative businesses and build networks
that have legacy but also attract additional research and knowledge exchange funding over the
period of the position.
