Call for CVs – Anticipated Kyrgyzstan Green Economy Activity

DAI, a global consulting firm headquartered in Washington, DC, USA, is seeking candidates for various positions to be based in Kyrgyzstan for the US Agency for International Development (USAID) 5-year project, “Green Economy Activity.” This project will work to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the private and public sectors, increase climate financing, and develop a policy framework to catalyze sustainable and green climate solutions while promoting a robust and socially inclusive economy.

DAI is currently accepting applications from senior and mid-level candidates for anticipated long-term program positions. Full-time positions are contingent upon project award and USAID approval and would be based in Kyrgyzstan.

  • Director of Operations and Finance
  • Technical Experts

Areas of Expertise Sought for Technical Experts Include:

  • Agribusiness, tourism, and entrepreneurship
  • Climate Finance
  • Government and Institutional Capacity Building
  • Climate Policy
  • Climate-smart Technology
  • Private sector engagement and public-private partnerships
  • Knowledge management and monitoring, evaluating, and learning (MEL)
  • Gender equity, youth, and social inclusion
  • Finance, administration, and operations management; prior experience on USAID programs preferred
  • Grants management; prior experience with grants on USAID programs preferred

Requirements:

  • University degree in economics, international relations, public administration, business, finance, environmental studies, or a relevant field
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Fluency in English is required
