Job Summary
  • Working various dining events on campus
  • Follow standard procedures to facilitate service of food and beverages to Bowdoin College catering customers
  • Hourly rate for this position is $19.50/ per hour
Education/Skills Requirements Required:

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Must pass Maine Alcohol Server Course (B.A.S.I.C)
  • Demonstrated reliability and ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Must be able to work independently in a team atmosphere
  • Must be neat and clean and demonstrate good personal hygiene practices
  • Ability to work cooperatively and closely with others.
Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents Required:

  • This position is subject to a pre-placement physical and criminal background check

Preferred:

  • Previous bartending experience his position is subject to a pre-placement physical and background check.
Standard Work Days and Hours
  • This position is a part-time, non-benefit eligible position.
  • Various shifts available and flexible hours, as needed for events on campus.
  • Willing to work with candidates on their availability.
