Position Summary:

The Clinic Director is responsible for managing the medical care provided in the clinic:
this includes a combination of administrative and medical practice responsibilities, which are related to the supervision of clinic personnel, policies, procedures, and practice. The Clinical Director is actively involved as a provider of patient care and in the coordination of patient care in order to ensure the smooth progression of the patient’s medical evaluation and treatment. He/she is responsible for the general oversight of the Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs and reports to the Executive Director of Florida Atlantic University Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing Community Health Center on clinical matters.
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Clinic Director and Nurse Practitioner – Community Health Center/College of Nursing. – Westgate, FL
Summary of responsibilities include:
- Provides daily oversight of the operations of the Community Health Center.
- Enforces clinical policies and procedures.
- Works with the Executive Director in the preparation and submission of annual certification reports and unified data system reports.
- Ensures the Community Health Center complies with federally qualified health center standards, regulations, including state and federal government regulations.
- Works closely with Health Care Coordinator to implement and oversee quality assurance/quality improvement program.
- Coordinates and oversees the quality of student experiences.
- Provides primary care based on clinic needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
A master’s degree from an accredited institution in nursing required.
Must have a current State of Florida RN/APRN license in good standing.
Current National Board Certification as a family nurse practitioner in primary care required.
Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner experience required.
A minimum of four years of clinical experience required.
An active Florida license as a Nurse Practitioner required.
A minimum of two years of administrative experience in primary care required.
Preferred English and Spanish speaking.
Preferred experience with electronic health records.
Salary:
$110,000 per year.
