The mission of the Princeton University Department of Athletics is to strive for excellence in academics and athletics, while embracing equity in opportunity, good sportsmanship, and ethical conduct. In keeping with this mission, the role of the Compliance Support Assistant is to provide support for the Compliance program, helping to ensure program integrity and the operation of a model NCAA Division I and Ivy League program.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance, the Compliance Support Assistant will assist with compliance monitoring, education, and program operation. The position will assist with, among other things, confirming the initial eligibility of incoming student-athletes, updating and reviewing student-athlete forms, monitoring the recruitment process and records for all sports program, playing and practice season review for select sports (using the department’s database), monitoring and reviewing rosters, and NCAA rules compliance education for student-athlete and coaches. The Compliance Support Assistant will also assist with the generation of various NCAA and Ivy League compliance reports, including the NCAA APR and GSR reports.
All duties must be performed while maintaining compliance with NCAA and IVY LEAGUE legislation and with the ability uphold the commitment to Department of Athletics mission of Education Through Athletics. Experience with athletics compliance and/or as a collegiate student-athlete are positives but not required.
This is a part-time, temporary position.
