Job Summary | The Coordinator for Business Development will serve the Division in building strategic corporate partnerships and training initiatives to grow the Division of Enterprise Development’s (DED) brand locally and nationally. This position manages the entire process from identification of a lead, to needs analysis, the creation of proposals, and closing the deal. The coordinator will source opportunities and build relationships with corporate mid-sized entities, business chambers, and economic development commissions with the goal of securing virtual, in-person, and/or online corporate training contracts. The coordinator will maintain metrics on frequency of communication and have frequent communication with DED management and other DED stakeholders to ensure the achievement of DED corporate services goals and objectives. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities |

Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Relevant professional sales experience with demonstrated results. Ability to facilitate effective meetings and make compelling sales presentations. Ability to manage tasks and keep the work organized. Two years (2) years of corporate development, program coordination, project management, or the equivalent experience. Ability to work with flexibility on several tasks simultaneously and to meet various concurrent deadlines. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. |
