Introduction :

The United Nations in Mauritius is implementing a technical assistance Joint Programme (JP) funded by the Joint SDG Fund titled “Contributing to establish an enabling environment to promote sustainable Green and Blue Economy in Mauritius and Seychelles”.  In the context of this JP, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) through its Subregional office for Southern Africa (SRO-SA) was assigned to lead the implementation of Activity 1.3.1 titled “Set up of a Business Information Platform on Ocean Renewables Energy in Mauritius to facilitate access to investors on data on ocean renewable energy in Mauritius”, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Public Utilities/ the Mauritius Renewables Energy Agency (MARENA), the Economic  Development Board and the Indian Ocean Commission. 

 The ECA SRO-SA is looking to recruit a service providers (Full-Stack Web Developer) to deliver on the set up and operationalization of a business information portal on Renewable Energy technologies in Mauritius to facilitate access to investors on data on renewable energy in Mauritius (henceforth RE Portal). Specifically, the RE Portal will become the knowledge platform for MARENA and can be accessible through a hyperlink from the websites of other relevant public and private stakeholders involved in the energy transition in Mauritius.
