Early Childhood Educator – Infant, School Age

Kids Kingdom Child Care Centre is a non-profit, well run center currently seeking an individual to fill multiple positions for a brand new infant room and existing school age room. All of these positions are full time and come with a range of benefits.

2 Infant room positions (minumum Level 1 with Infant certification)
1 After school room (Minimum Level 1)

Anticipated start date is January 2023.

Responsibilities:

A highly motivated individual responsible for assisting in the implementation of newly opening rooms Child Care Program. The successful applicant will also help to provide a variety of daily experiences that support and promote each child’s overall development, creating opportunities for optimal learning and growth. Further responsibilities will include maintaining the classroom, incorporating new materials, and communicating with families.

Competencies:

The candidate should possess the following competencies: professionalism; initiative; teamwork; interpersonal skills; strong work ethic and flexibility. Experience working in the regulated child care sector, using positive behaviour guidance techniques, and implementing an emergent curriculum.

Requirements:

– One Year Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Level 1 Certification), Infant certification required for infant position.

– Current First Aid / CPR

– Current Certificate of Conduct & Vulnerable Sector / Court Check

– Oath of Confidentiality with Employer

– Current Immunization Record
