Ecological Field Surveyors

We are looking for a number of enthusiastic Field Ecologists to help us with our busy field
survey season.

You will need to have a qualification in Ecology or a related field and ideally have experience
of protected species survey, however we are able to provide relevant training for a limited
number of surveyors to carry out some aspects of survey work under licences held by our
experienced staff.

There may also be opportunities for people without a formal qualification but a keen interest
in ecology/wildlife to accompany our surveyors for health and safety reasons.

At present we have a specific requirement for GCN/bat surveyors and survey assistants in the
Swindon, Bristol, Gloucestershire and South Wales areas.

If we do not have immediate assignments for suitably qualified candidates then details will be
kept on a database to enable us to match candidates to assignments throughout the survey
season. For candidates that show the right skills and attitude, there may be the opportunity
for future employment.

Rates will be agreed on a project by project basis.

You will need:

• A full clean driving licence
• Your own car
• A mobile phone which you would be willing to use to liaise with the office
• Willingness to work independently
• Some sites require a CSCS card, so this would be an advantage
