The Development Coordinator position is an entry-level/ early career fundraising role where training and mentoring will be provided. The successful candidate will be a motivated, well-organized individual who takes initiative, has excellent communication skills, and partners with development officers, faculty, and donors in priority areas of the School of Biological Sciences, in order to develop philanthropic support for the school. Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Development, the Development Coordinator provides project management, administrative and event support for the School’s Development team. The scope of responsibilities includes: coordinating proposals, preparation for donor visits, stewardship, communications for potential donors, assisting with events and administrative tasks such as managing the Executive Director’s calendar, processing gifts, and other administrative tasks related to support of the development process. The Development Coordinator has an opportunity to learn front-line fundraising, and performs complex duties that involve confidential and sensitive information of a broad scope related to donor relations and fundraising.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $26.92 – $36.64 (Hourly Rate). The Full Salary Range for the salary grade this position is assigned to is $26.92 – $46.36 (Hourly Rate).
