Job Summary | The appointment to this position will be 20 hrs. per week. The position shall be for a minimum duration of one academic year (9 months) with the possibility of renewal. Research and Instruction Services of Auburn University Libraries is responsible for providing research services for all fields of undergraduate and graduate studies, and programs of research, service, and outreach at Auburn. Essential Functions | The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the RBD Library faculty and staff in the Research and Instruction Services division by providing instructional design services. This includes providing technical assistance with online asynchronous instruction content and instruction lab upkeep in RBD Library. Specific duties include:

Minimum Qualifications | Applicants should be students who are currently enrolled in a graduate program of study at Auburn, with a strong academic background and excellent customer service and communication skills. |
Preferred Qualifications | Preference is given to applicants with strong teaching skills, computer skills, familiarity with UDL, and an academic background in areas that complement the educational qualifications and subject expertise of our current Research & Instruction Librarians. |
Pay Rate | Begins at $15.00/hour |
Work Hours | The requirement of 20 hours per week includes a mix of daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Graduate students are also expected to work through academic breaks during open hours of the Libraries. |
