JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Office of Entrepreneurship and Commercialization is seeking a highly organized and collaborative intern to support the mission of the Happy Valley LaunchBox. The intern will assist with our co-working space and startup accelerator programs, including answering intake emails, building community both online and in-person, and maintaining excellent organization.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to intake emails and provide information about our programs to interested parties
• Help build community in both online channels (such as social media and email) and in-person
• Assist with organizing and promoting events and workshops
• Help students and community members interested in entrepreneurship navigate our resources and connect with relevant contacts

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Strong organizational skills
• Passion for entrepreneurship and community building
• Familiarity with email marketing is a plus
• Ideal candidates will be students studying entrepreneurship, business, communications, digital media, or a related field.

This paid appointment will run from May 8th through August 11th, 2023, and will be conducted in person at the Happy Valley LaunchBox.
