    Description

    The Human Resource Business Partner, will support the daily functions of Human Resources within an assigned department(s) or division(s). Focus of support would include, but not limited to the following:
    • Full-cycle Recruitment– develop recruitment plans, drive requisition process, positing ads, sourcing and screening resumes, interviewing, maintaining updated job descriptions, offer letters, background & drug screening, HR new hire onboarding, scheduling for orientation, data entry into HRIS
    • 30,60-, & 90-day new hire follow-up interviews
    • Provide support/counsel/coaching to members in various HR-related topics such as time off, performance, and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
    • Conduct investigations and propose resolutions of ongoing employee relations
    • Manages the FMLA process
    • Promotes HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
    • Assists in development and implementation of human resource policies
    • Assist supervisors and managers with employee feedback-performance management
    • Gathers and analyzes data with useful HR metrics:

      • Time to fill
      • Turnover rates within the specified departments or division.
      • Vacancies
      • Recruitment-posting sources
      • Reasons for separation
    • Lead a culture of accountability
    • Create and maintain member files and records electronically in network drive
    • Enhances job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team building activities
    • Implements retention programs (Mentor, Buddy, Recognition awards, etc.)
    • Ensure compliance with labor regulations

    HR Competencies, Requitements & Skills
    • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
    • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
    • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g., Kronos, Paylocity, PeopleSoft) will be a plus
    • Excellent communication and people skills
    • Aptitude in problem-solving
    • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
    • BS/BA in Human Resources or relevant field
    • 5-7 years of relevant experience in Human Resources
