UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child, how can you make a difference?

  1. Background Context and Rationale:

UNICEF Sri Lanka produces a variety of content (i.e., images and video) that require services of an in-house Multimedia Designer to package it in a compelling way for public dissemination. The aim of designing and packaging the content is to ensure that the local and international audiences find it captivating.

Many of our audiences not only seek information but are willing to have important conversations on crucial issues concerning children’s wellbeing and rights. Our overall social media content aims to build Awareness/Interest, Empower People and to Drive Change” to take an action. The focus is to ensure greater understanding and participation and meaningful engagement with our online audiences such as young people, parents, political influencers across the country. This also provides us an opportunity to win our audience support for the cause of children in Sri Lanka.

In order to strengthen UNICEF Sri Lanka’s presence on social media and to improve engagement with online audiences, UNICEF requires full-time professional support to create high-quality in-house social media graphics and videos.
