IT Manager

         As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing the organization’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. You will lead a team of IT professionals and work closely with other departments to ensure that technology supports UIMS’s goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.

• Manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.

• Develop and implement security measures to protect the organization’s data and systems.

• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.

• Lead the IT team, providing guidance and support as needed.

• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Manage the IT budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost- effectiveness.

• Identify emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in IT management.

• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.

• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, security, and system administration.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with budget management and cost control.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing technology and business needs.

• Relevant industry certifications, such as CISSP or CCNP, are a plus.
