Description of Work Unit | It is the mission of this department to provide safe, efficient multi-modal access to campus and manage parking resources to support campus activities and enhance life in the university community. The department is a self-funded auxiliary department of Colorado State University that supports all maintenance and operations as they relate to transportation services on campus. Founded in 1870, Colorado State University is among the nation’s leading research universities and enrolls approximately 32,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Located an hour north of the Denver metro area, Fort Collins is a vibrant community of approximately 157,000 residents that offers the convenience of a small town with all the amenities of a large city. Fort Collins is situated on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains with views of 14,000 foot peaks, and offers access to numerous cultural, recreational, and outdoor opportunities. |
Position Summary | This position is responsible for system integration, system operability and contract service relationships to ensure network integrity and ongoing day to day operations. Provide oversight to management of computers, software, hardware and user support. Manage and revise policies and procedures to inventory, maintain, order and replace hardware and or software. Develop and oversee robust risk management planning to identify and remediate network risk to include scheduled routine maintenance, updates and tests to assess network connectivity. Demonstrated software and hardware utilization; diagnosing, analyzing, resolving, documenting, installing and updating hardware and software. |
