LSHTM’s Project management Office (PMO) is responsible for delivering all of the organisation’s strategic projects across a wide portfolio and the successful candidate will be joining a close-knit team with diverse skill-sets. 

We are seeking to appoint an IT Project Manager to join the PMO. You will be working alongside Business Analysts, Business Relationship Managers, IT PM’s, Capital & Estates staff and Process & Project Governance professionals. 

The successful candidate will hold an undergraduate degree or have demonstrable and appropriate practical experience. Demonstrate experience in the management and successful delivery of multiple complex IT projects, ideally in an HE environment along with experience in working in a Prince2-based project environment is essential. Knowledge of ITIL will also be viewed as favorable. Applicants should possess a good understanding of the design, development, implementation and management of corporate IT systems and services within a Higher Education environment, as well as the various challenges and opportunities that they present. The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1 FTE and permanent

The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale Grade 7 in the range £51,299 – £58,723 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
