Licensed Practical Nurse PRN, the Willows/Arbor at the Kroontje Health Care Center at Warm Hearth Village

Warm Hearth is looking for a compassionate and service oriented candidate to join our Nursing Department Team at the Kroontje Health Care Center in the Willows/Arbor at Warm Hearth Village. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with the elderly and a dynamic team as we fulfill our mission of “Fostering a person-centered approach to gaining in an inclusive environment that redefines retirement.”

• Salary is competitive and based on experience.
• We have a robust benefits package with a low-cost HSA plan for FT employees. PT employees are offered dental vision.
• Full Time employees earn four weeks of PTO per year and have access to 5 days (40 hours) of PTO upon hire.
• Part Time employees earn two weeks of PTO per year and have access to 3 days (24 hours) of PTO upon hire.
• Access to our gorgeous, state-of-the-art fitness center and saltwater pool.

We currently have a PRN position available on the following shift:

• 2:00pm – 10:30pm

Compensation:

• Shift Differential from Monday – Friday from 6:00pm to 6:00am $1.00 per hour and on Saturday’s and Sunday’s 6:00pm to 6:00am $1.50 per hour.

Requirements:

• A valid LPN license in good standing from the Virginia State Board of Nursing.

Preferences:

• One to three years of previous experience in a long term care setting is preferred, but not required.

What to expect your first week with Warm Hearth Village:

• Complete PPD/COVID Testing
• New Hire Orientation program

What to expect your first 90 days with Warm Hearth Village:

• Job enlargement
• 90 Performance Evaluation
• Receive CPR and First Aid training

What to expect your first year with Warm Hearth Village:

• Eligibility for scholarship programs to pay for other certifications and college education
• Participate in various committees and focus groups on campus.
