Introduction
UNDP is seeking a qualified firm, organization, or service provider to establish a Long-Term Agreement for the delivery of cash assistance to eligible beneficiaries in Viet Nam.
Viet Nam is one of the most disaster-prone countries. Disasters including typhoons, floods, droughts…cause serious damage and losses to properties, farms, houses and infrastructure annually. To support disaster response and recovery activities, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) often receive financial assistance from donors to provide cash assistance (unconditional and conditional cash) to affected households in disaster hit locations. Cash assistance has to be delivered to beneficiary households rapidly and efficiently.
In order to prepare well for response, recovery and resilience-building projects that need cash payment, UNDP is seeking the service of a firm/organization/service provider that lays out a cooperation framework for a period of 1 year, under a Long-term Agreement with potential possibility to extend annually up to 2 additional years based on the UNDP’s continuous need and annual performance review of the service provider.
