The Cancer Clinic in Bryan, TX is a private hematology and oncology practice serving residents of the Brazos Valley for over 35 years. We are currently seeking a qualified, compassionate, energetic and outgoing oncology nurse to join our team. Job Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care for oncology patients as they undergo treatment
• Administer the infusion of chemotherapy and immunotherapy in a community oncology setting
• Provide supportive care administering shots, IV hydration and oral medications as appropriate
• Triage patients utilizing critical thinking and professional skills to assess patient needs
• Mix medications, chemotherapy and immunotherapy
• Provide education regarding therapy and treatment associated with specific medications

Qualifications

• Experience as a registered nurse in a hospital or outpatient setting
• Relevant work experience in oncology and OCN certificate is preferred but not required
• Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
• Must be a team player and willing to take on responsibility for tasks ancillary to nursing activities
