Part Time Job Coach for Persons With Disabilities

Washington Vocational Services (WVS) continues to grow and we seek a dedicated On-call Job Coach to provide our clients with support in their Employment and/or Community Inclusion activities.

The position requires a detail orientated and task driven individual to work cooperatively with our Employment Consultant Team members in support of our clients. While the hours are flexible based on our clients’ needs, hours are not guaranteed. During the initial training you may average between 5 and 29 hours per week. After the training period the position is on-call and hours are scheduled as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma/GED required.

Proficiency in American Sign Language a plus. (required for some positions, others it’s preferred).

Able to provide own reliable transportation daily to multiple off-site meetings.

Must have current driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Willing to consent for the background checks required by Washington State Patrol and by the Department of Social and Health Services.

Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills

Must understand and demonstrate the importance of ethical consideration in the field of human services.

Proof of Vaccination against Covid, required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.69 per hour
