About the Role
This exciting new post represents an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated, experienced Trial Coordinator/ Trial Manager to work in a multi-site CTIMP trial in a registered Clinical Trials Unit.
The Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit (PCTU) is situated within the newly established Institute of Population Health Sciences which is a world class, multidisciplinary grouping of academics focussing on population health sciences, spanning public and global health, health services research, policy, genomics and data science, behavioural and social sciences. Staff engage in a wide range of applied health research, providing a stimulating work environment.
The post holder’s role will be to coordinate and manage the AttackMS trial (Natalizumab for the treatment of people with inflammatory demyelination suggestive of multiple sclerosis, or definite multiple sclerosis, at first presentation) in collaboration with the lead research team based at the Blizard Institute (Centre for Neuroscience, Surgery & Trauma) and the Trial Management Group at the PCTU.
Previous research experience in multi-site Clinical Trials of an Investigational Medicinal Product (CTIMPs) involving contact with NHS patients or research participants is essential. Previous experience in MS trials would be beneficial.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment for an initial 12 months, with an expected start date of November 2022. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £35,775- £42,021 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Funding is currently in place for this post until September 2023, additional funding is being sought to extend until January 2025.
