Position description

We are recruiting for a Policy Intern to support our advocacy efforts to reform the money and baking system. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in policy within the context of economic reform. You will report to the Head of Policy and focus on supporting our work with the European Central Bank (ECB) and the upcoming European elections. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Assist in the development of policy briefs, blogs, and other advocacy materials
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments related to our mission, with a focus on the political debate around the European elections
  • Support outreach efforts to build relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, NGOs, and community organisations
  • Assist in the preparation of events and presentations for public speaking engagements
  • Provide general administrative support to the policy team, including scheduling meetings, managing documentation, and maintaining databases

  • Commitment to Positive Money’s mission
  • Commitment to learning about our culture, including our anti-oppression work;
  • A willingness to learn about the money and banking system
  • A desire to develop skills across policy, campaigns, and public affairs
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, completing tasks in line with priorities and timelines set by the Head of Policy
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
