Physical Requirements Movement typical of desk work such as sitting/bending/typing/twisting. Prolonged exposure to computer screens. Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 20 lbs.
Shift Monday – Friday, (8:00 am – 5:00 pm).
Weekend and evening work will be required as needed
Job Summary This position is 100% grant funded. The University of Kentucky, College of Social Work is seeking qualified candidates for a full- time Program Coordinator II for the Kentucky Kinship Resource Center. The KY-KINS Coordinator will work in conjunction with program faculty and staff to develop and implement a continuum of services to address challenges and provide support to kinship care providers across the Commonwealth. This position will develop and implement a kinship peer support structure, including recruiting and training peer support paraprofessionals. The position will also work to initiate a state wide needs assessment related to kinship care support group needs and develop and launch a virtual support group service for kinship care providers.
