Program / Housing Manager

Two positions available- one in Ellensburg, WA and one in Moses Lake, WA (relocation package offered if needed)

Position Summary

We are looking for a Housing Manager to join our non-profit organization. We embody a CASTLE culture (Courage, Authenticity, Service, Truth, Love, and Effectiveness) and are looking for someone who upholds these same values.

The Housing Manager manages all aspects of assigned programs including personnel, budget, outcomes, contract compliance, and strategic planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Manages all aspects of assigned programs including personnel, budget, outcomes, contract compliance, and strategic planning.

· Coordinate and review financial information to prioritize and direct staffing, resource allocation and objectives.

· Initiate and direct changes to increase efficiency and meet objectives.

· Manage to budget, staff, calendar, and facilities to support organizational finance and operation goals per program.

· Enforce rules and procedures for auditing, procurement, financial reporting, and legal compliance.

· Understand and comply with all program contract requirements, including timely and accurate submission of reports.

· Support Director with development of projected annual budgets, allocations, and contract funding including invoicing and billing oversight.

· Coordinate with and build sustaining relationships with external vendors and partners and constantly develop new partnerships.

· Ensure accreditation, maintenance and safety programs are current and accurate.

· Participate in local community activities, local and regional government, and funder meetings on our behalf and remain informed on the affairs of the cities, County, and State, and Federal legislatures relative to programs.

· Support HR objectives in the recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

· Achieves operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

· Supports Director in meeting financial objectives providing reports for forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

· Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications

· Five years’ experience in leadership and supervision of multiple employees with successful outcomes.

· Project management experience with both analysis of information and implementation of projects.

· Experience with budgets and invoicing.

· Experience with grant and/or contract administration preferably in the field of supportive housing.

· Attention to detail, decision-making ability, and conflict resolution skills.

· Must pass criminal background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
