In the role of Program Manager II you will work independently under the direction of the Program Director, Medical Director, Department Administrator, and Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital Vice President to manage the activities of the F&MCW South Side Residency Program. The Program Manager II will provide administrative direction for both the education and clinical enterprise of the health center in conjunction with the Program Director and Medical Director. This position will include budgeting and monitoring of income and expenses, supervision of staff, creation and maintenance of clinic policies and procedures, supervision and review of all billings and collections on site functions and outcomes, serving on the affiliated hospital management team, contract management, and teaching practice management skills to residents.

Responsibilities:

General Primary Functions for all MCW PMII

  • Maintain program timeline including tracking deadlines for program deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies.
  • Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events.
  • Oversee training for program participants.
  • Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession or area of research.
  • Ensure high level of collaboration and ongoing communication with DFCM and clinical affiliate leaders.

 Department-Specific Program Manager II Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for day to day supervision of all health center and residency clinical and clerical support staff, including responsibility for decisions regarding the hiring, coaching, terminating, and disciplining of all employees.
  • Responsible for financial management of the med-ed and clinical hospital budgets.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative leadership of clinic operations in conjunction with the Program Director, and Medical Director
  • Facilitate communication throughout the program among all physicians, staff, and others, attend faculty meetings and participate in decision-making about the residency program.
  • Assure compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies.
  • In conjunction with the Medical Director, oversees and coordinate quality improvement processes and the collection, analysis, and dissemination of program and department data.
  • Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events.
  • Coordinate relationships with external agencies, including community resources for patients, building maintenance vendors, etc.
  • Participate as the representative of the Family Medicine Residency Program with affiliated hospital’s management teams, CP’s management team, MCW functions, department functions and within the community.
  • Assures program data and progress are reported to program stakeholders

Preferred Schedule:

8am – 4:30pm

Position Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree preferred
  • 8 years


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse
  • Experience in Ambulatory Clinic Management
