A career in Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to deliver positive social impact with measurable, long lasting results in the areas of youth education, social inclusion and the environment. You’ll focus on coordinating and overseeing the organisation’s charitable activities, designing and implementing programmes to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with all environmental regulations, and developing policies and programmes to ensure organisational awareness of government legislation and regulatory issues that affect the organisation.

As part of the team, you’ll help us plan initiatives that continue to make PwC a reliable and socially responsible partner in the accounting market place, our communities, and to our existing and potential clients.

Working in a global matrixed organization;

Developing/stewarding a corporate foundation strategy;

Directing cross-stakeholder collaborations/initiatives, social impact measurement & operational direction for Foundation strategy development in Purpose & Inclusion (P&I) with the US/MX/global communities in alignment with the firm’s business model/services;

Driving strategy & ongoing execution for the US PwC Foundation in alignment with firm business & US/MX Purpose & Inclusion (P&I) strategies & priorities including relevant knowledge & understanding of the nonprofit sector, external networks & stewarding an annual operating budget of approx. $30M for grantmaking/program related investment portfolio, grant-aligned citizen-led engagement opportunities aligned with P&I priorities (e.g. inclusion networks, scopeathons) & the People Who Care Fund employee hardship assistance program;

Acting as a visionary with corporate/nonprofit expertise who can guide the Foundation to exponential growth over the next 3 to 5 years, working closely with the Foundation Board & team, to significantly increase grantmaking, expand relevant programming to PwC MX, increase citizen-led grant opportunities & amplify its social impact & brand through the creation of high-impact initiatives &/or collaborations with key stakeholders (e.g. strategic collaborations with nonprofits, PwC clients & non-traditional organizations, such as VC & donor advised funds with a social impact remit) ;

Overseeing the Foundation’s daily operations & overall compliance with IRS public charity foundation rules/regulations including managing annual budget planning, grant payment administration & reporting, annual charitable compliance state registration process, vendor contracts/relationships, directing resources & all financials within budget guidelines & the fiscal integrity of the organization, & supporting the Foundation Treasurer & PwC Partner Tax & Exempt Org. Tax Services teams in the annual external audit process & 990 reviews & filings;

Providing operational direction for the Foundation the P&I strategy & the US/MX/global communities including participation in cross P&I leadership calls/strategy discussions, collaborating with other functional groups to execute on Foundation strategy & serving as a hub for best practices/knowledge-sharing with clients & global PwC territories;

Leading/contributing to a highly virtual team culture, including managing/coaching a team & fostering a culture of collaboration/innovation with P&I colleagues across the matrix on cross-functional initiatives that drive collective Foundation & P&I impact;

Acting as a trusted advisor to the Foundation Board w/ demonstrated leadership in nonprofit board management, including governance, board meeting planning & execution, operationalizing board committees, & leading succession planning in conjunction with the Foundation President/informed by key functional groups/leaders;

Directing the Foundation through shifting business & societal trends & timely discussions with nonprofit leaders & internal leaders/stakeholders to keep the foundation mission & priorities in pace with evolving business landscape & pressing societal issues;

Demonstrating leadership in driving the Foundation’s social impact strategy through a well-articulated theory of change & data driven framework & grantee impact reporting process including working with P&I data/ops teams to align Foundation outcomes reporting for annual Purpose report & global reporting; and,

Leveraging research, data & insights to inform and execute short-term/long-term solutions to keep the Foundation’s strategy relevant & drive meaningful social impact in PwC communities.
