The Kansas University Center on Developmental Disabilities (KUCDD), a designated research center within the Life Span Institute at KU, is seeking a Research Project Director to support implementation of research on developing a mathematics vocabulary intervention for students with math difficulty in Grades 3 and 4. KUCDD is recognized as a leading research center in the field of disability and has projects across the life span focused on students and adults with and at risk for disabilities, across academic, social, transition, and employment and community living domains. KUCDD has a strong focus on research, as well as community services (including technical assistance, community education, and direct services), information dissemination, and interdisciplinary training.

Under the supervision of Dr. Liz Stevens, this position will direct the day-to-day implementation of Project Math Words, a federally funded research grant awarded to the University of Kansas ( ), across two sites (KU and UT Austin). The Project Director (PD) will work closely with the Principal Investigator to plan and coordinate the implementation of all project activities.
