About the role

You will be engaged in the University’s residential communities and collaborate with colleagues and students to create an activate and harmonious student community. You will provide administrative support, obtain support and educative services, facilitate house meetings and risk assessments and work with residential students.

You will:

  • actively engage and interact with students;
  • perform various administrative tasks including document preparation, collating, distributing, and filing, following upon meeting outcomes and discussions with students;
  • provide support to staff educating students on the Universities expectations for an appropriate living, learning environment; and
  • assist students with the planning, preparation and running of events, activities and functions.

About you

You will be a positive role model who is capable of building and sustaining exceptional working relationships with residential students. Previous experience successfully performing a supervisory or disciplinary role within a student and/or residential community would be beneficial.

You will possess:

  • demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds;
  • the ability to work flexible hours throughout the calendar year; and
  • demonstrated ability to assist with the planning and administration of functions and events.
