Blythedale Children’s Hospital currently has an outstanding opportunity for Respiratory Therapist to care for our medically fragile and complex neonatal & pediatric patients/residents. We are seeking to fill various positions for all shifts. RRT’S provide independent, professional cardio-pulmonary care and perform diagnostic procedures on pediatric patients in support of their total medical care. RTs are an integral component of our ventilator weaning program and our Simulation based emergency care training programs. Position requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to maintain the airway and manually ventilate the patient during a code. Working knowledge of EMR programs preferably Meditech.

Candidates must have a current New York State License and be RRT certified. Current BLS and PALS certification required. 2 years’ experience with neonatal or pediatric patients preferred new grads will be considered.
