RSK Biocensus are seeking a Senior Arb Consultant / Arb
Consultant to join their team. This is a full time
permanent position. The post is likely to require a mix of days on site and in the
office however flexible working arrangements can be discussed, therefore the successful
candidate must be happy to travel and stay away for periods of time. Primary locations include
Bristol, Cardiff, Hemel Hempstead, Tonbridge, Coventry, Helsby, Leeds & Glasgow….
well…anywhere in the UK!
RSK Biocensus is a leading ecological consultancy with a network of more than
700 highly skilled and experienced UK-based ecologists. RSK Biocensus’ existing ecological
services merged with RSK’s existing ecological division to form RSK Biocensus, bringing
together exceptional in-house expertise and access to the UK’s largest ecology skills network.
- This role will involve the opportunity to work within a small team and as a consultant
provide support to senior members in the team. You will be working with your line manager
(based in another office) to support members of the team on larger elements of work and
- A Consultant is responsible for managing and overseeing small tenders and projects from
commencement to completion and close-out.
- You will undertake all work with an appropriate level of care and attention, compliant with
RSK procedures and within given budgets and timescales.
- You will demonstrate very good communication skills with team members and peers. You will
be self-motivated, exhibiting a proactive approach, working well within a team.
- Minimum QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework) Level 3-4 qualification in Arboriculture
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A friendly and approachable manner
- The ability to provide detailed, concise and professional advice to clients (verbally and
in report form) to required deadlines
- Good tree identification
- Good knowledge of visual tree inspection
Salary and benefits
- £31,000 – £42,000
