You will be part of a dynamic team in education department, to organize, plan and execute curricular programs/initiatives across all medical years of the undergraduate program. You will also provide administrative, secretarial and logistical support and guidance to the Education Committees and other stakeholders, to facilitate effective implementation of the curriculum.
1. Assessments – Ensure integrity of questions and results by ensuring department’s adherence to NUS examination regulations
Assist to organise, plan and execute continual and final assessments for students in departments (online or face-to-face)
Provide administrative support for all examinations in NUSMed
2. Campus Based Learning (CBL)
Partner with team member to plan for CBL for each cohort in the clinical years, e.g. front loading lectures, Collaborative Learning Cases (CLCs) etc.
Plan for and coordinate logistical preparations required, e.g. setup of teaching events in the learning management system with required pre-reading materials/preparation notes, rolling out post-teaching feedback to students via NUS Medicine’s Feedback portal etc.
Execute the CBL and provide support to tutors and students during the lesson where necessary
Plan for and coordinate logistical preparations for pilots
Communicate and disseminate implementation-related requests and information to internal and external stakeholders
Collate department information/data for reporting to Dean’s Office
Execute any other administrative duties that may be assigned for the delivery, review, evaluation, and improvement of undergraduate medical curriculum
Qualifications & Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
3+ years of work experience, prior experience in the healthcare or events management industry would be beneficial but not essential
Effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate well with external stakeholders
Availability to work on specific weekends as needed for assessment administration
Strong project and time management skills
Tact and discretion in handling sensitive information
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel to assist in processing of examination data
