Job Description :We’re working on behalf of a long-standing client to find an experienced Senior Land Surveyor to support ongoing infrastructure and construction projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in varied site environments and enjoys both technical work and team leadership.The Role:As a Senior Land Surveyor, you’ll lead and manage small to medium-sized survey projects, working with autonomy and responsibility. You’ll oversee field teams, liaise with clients, and ensure high-quality survey data is captured, processed, and delivered in line with industry expectations. The role involves travel and working outdoors in all weather conditions.Key Responsibilities:Independently manage topographical and measured surveysCapture and process 3D Point Cloud data using laser scanning technologiesWork across diverse sectors including rail, highways, buildings, aviation, and utilitiesUtilise robotic total stations, GNSS receivers, and digital levelling equipmentProcess data using N4CE, AutoCAD, Cyclone, Trimble Business Centre, and StarnetLead teams on-site, plan workloads, and coordinate team diaries efficientlyEnsure all survey work complies with safety, accuracy, and quality standardsAssist in the mentoring and development of junior surveyorsRequirementsWhat We’re Looking For:5+ years of experience in land surveying across construction and infrastructure sectorsProficient in Trimble or Leica equipment and key software packages (AutoCAD, N4CE, Cyclone, etc.)Strong numeracy skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and leadership skillsFull UK driving licenceFlexibility to travel and work on-site in varying conditionsCSCS and PTS certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)Desirable:Relevant technical degree or equivalent industry experienceExperience mentoring junior team membersPrevious work on complex infrastructure projects

Expected salary

£27000 – 35000 per year
