The role

In this senior partnership role, working directly with the GM of Services and Impact, you will deliver on the organisation’s Theory of Change and Strategic Plan maximising outcomes for family violence victim survivors via The Orange Door.

As part of the senior leadership team, you will lead and contribute to developing, implementing and embedding innovative approaches that strengthen how FVREE deliver services in The Orange Door.

  • Oversee end to end delivery of specialist family violence response services
  • Work collaboratively with key partners to maximise the outcomes for victim survivors
  • Embed an intersectional approach to diversity and inclusion in work with all clients
  • Represent the Organisation within the Orange Door governance structures
  • Provide supervision and operational support to team leaders who are working within a matrix management system

Your strategic leadership will influence the continuing evolution of this world leading integrated model.

What you bring

Experience in working with contemporary, evidence-based programs and service delivery models in complex environments. You can demonstrate an ability to engage with, and influence stakeholders and develop enduring and impactful relationships with key delivery partners.

Ideally you will need a tertiary level qualification in social work or other relevant disciplines; management experience in a service-based community organisation is essential.

Equally as important you will

  • Sit comfortably with ambiguity and be able to think creatively seeing opportunities for optimisation
  • Be solutions focused and lead with positivity, optimism, and empathy
  • Have an eye on the big picture, whilst diving into the details to ensure operational excellence

The Organisation

FVREE is the lead specialist family violence service in Melbourne’s Eastern Metropolitan Region, working across the continuum of family violence including primary prevention, early intervention, intake and assessment, and response and recovery.
