Summer Education Placement

Gain valuable experience working with wildlife and young people on a 6 month placement with the
Trust.

Inspire children and young people about the natural world through a variety of educational
workshop programmes and outreach activities.

To thrive in our culture, you will need a huge amount of enthusiasm for the natural world and a
desire to inspire other people. In return, we offer a friendly and flexible working environment
and the chance to make a positive difference for people and wildlife in the North West.

Flexibility with regards to the working hours will be required as this post will involve
working some weekend days, as well as occasional evening working; however normally the working
week will be Monday to Friday.

Our team is based at Lancashire Wildlife Trust’s flagship site, Brockholes Nature Reserve, but
we deliver environmental education across three sites, so you will need to be prepared to
travel between the three locations.
