About The Role

The Technical Business Analyst is pivotal in our organisational transformation. We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual with a track record of analysing complex systems, documenting processes, and implementing operationally sustainable strategic solutions. Your main focus will be to support our core operational system, troubleshooting workflows and supporting the transition from the existing system to a new SaaS solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support operational processes and troubleshoot workflows in our existing core operational system
  • Propose solutions to enhance ways of working across processes, system configuration, data models and integrations
  • Gather, analyse and document stakeholder information, needs and existing processes in Nintex Process Manager
  • Develop and communicate technical requirements including design, build, and test plans
  • Analysis and preparation of data for both insights and migration
  • Identify, validate, and mitigate technology risks
  • Develop innovative, efficient, effective and scalable solutions
  • Evaluate usability and scalability of solutions
  • Research and analyse new technologies and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Work with organisation stakeholders and IT to implement changes
  • Design, document, test and implement software solutions
  • Execute and support infrastructure audits and reviews

Required skills, knowledge and experience

  • Proficiency in analysing and operating software products, particularly Make, Stacker and Airtable or similar products
  • Progressively responsible experience in technical business analysis role(s) or related roles including unpaid, grassroots or lived experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience in data governance and analysis
  • Technical ability and skills in diagnosing complex problems and proposing and documenting solutions at all levels including processes, systems, databases and integrations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Experience in a remote-first or hybrid IT environment
  • An interest in supporting action on climate change and an understanding of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI).

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience

  • Working knowledge of process automation tools (e.g. Make, Nintex process manager) and No code apps (e.g. Airtable, Stacker)
  • Understanding of and interest in new technologies and trends including AI
  • Understanding of sustainable practices and a demonstrated commitment to advancing climate-conscious initiatives through technology and a commitment to social justice
