Investigate transcriptional control by thyroid hormone receptors and modifying factors in the pituitary gland and endocrine system. The project takes advantage of novel mammalian genetic models and a variety of advanced molecular and genomic approaches to study thyroid hormone action and enhancer function in natural tissues.
The project aims to reveal insights into how thyroid hormone mediates critical control in the endocrine system, and how this can be impaired in different thyroid disorders.
Experience in molecular biology, genetics, genomics or computational analysis is an advantage.
