This role will play a pivotal role in managing the University’s engagement with our UK Collaborative students and partner organisations as well as having responsibility for supporting the Senior Manager UK Partnerships in the management of the UK Partnerships Team.
This role will make a major contribution to the management and development of the UK Partnerships Strategy and the identification and progression of new business opportunities in order to grow income, strengthen progression routes to UCLan and promote educational opportunity for all, in line with key corporate objectives. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experiential learning from the work environment and have experience of building and managing relationships with staff at all levels and key external organisations.
We are seeking an individual with extensive experience and proven success managing teams and multiple projects in a fast-paced HE/FE environment. Having a proactive approach to relationship management and the ability to build credibility both internally and externally, is central to this role.
The candidate will have an enthusiastic approach and be committed to continuous improvement, ensuring that clear objectives, efficient processes and effective practices are in place across the team. Substantial experience of leading projects and initiatives and providing innovative solutions to meet service objectives is essential to this role.
The post is based in our UK Recruitment, Partnerships and Academic Registry team, within our External Relations service. The External Relations service brings together UK and International Recruitment, Admissions, Partnerships, External Affairs, Marketing, Communications and our Academic Registry. The service was formed in 2020 and brings together vast expertise, passion and commitment to deliver the best possible results for the University.
