Overview of position

CTG supports and manage humanitarian projects in fragile and conflict-affected countries around the world. With past performance in 15 countries – from the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia and Central and South America – we offer a comprehensive fabric of project management, implementation and support. Skilled in emergency response to crises such as the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, we have the ability to act quickly (crisis response teams can be on the ground in 24 hours) and to establish structured operations in high-risk environments. CTG recruit and manage qualified, skilled teams with extensive experience operating in challenging conditions.

Role objectives

To deliver a limited number of routine business support tasks, to ensure that staff are effectively supported.

Perform the passengers checking at deep stations where UNHAS does not have footprint as per
UNHAS SAOP and regulations.

• Perform security screening/checking for passengers and their baggage.

• Update the passengers checks after flights in the Takeflite application.

• Coordinate with AOCC, Check-in, and Air Operator Crew to ensure all procedures and paperwork
is completed for flights in deep field locations.

• Ensure that all equipment required for Flight Monitor duties is maintained and is in working

• Communicate to the relevant UNHAS departments any deficiencies observed in the deep field

• Report any safety and security concerns at all UNHAS destinations, airports, airstrips, and landing
