Job Summary | The College of Veterinary Medicine seeks candidates for an Assistant, Vet Inpatient working directly with the ER clinicians and rotating intern doctors to help facilitate quality client care and patient flow through the IMC, ICU, and ER. *This position will not be responsible for primary nursing care of ECC patients admitted to IMC or ICU. May be responsible for training, assisting or assigning tasks to others. May provide input to performance reviews of other employees. |

Requirements for Additional Job Levels | Depending on the combination of education and experience, selected candidates will be hired as an Inpatient Veterinary Assistant, and assigned Levels I, II, or III. Salary range is determined by eligibility for Level I, II, or III. Consideration for Level I requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Level II requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital environment. Level III requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital environment. |
