*This position will not be responsible for primary nursing care of ECC patients admitted to IMC or ICU. May be responsible for training, assisting or assigning tasks to others. May provide input to performance reviews of other employees.

|Requirements for Additional Job Levels||Depending on the combination of education and experience, selected candidates may be hired as an Inpatient Veterinary Technician and assigned Levels I, II, or III. Salary range is determined by eligibility for Level I, II, or III.
Consideration for Tech I, Vet Inpatient requires an Associate’s degree in a technical or scientific field related to the area of assignment.
Level II requires an Associate’s degree in a technical or scientific field related to the area of assignment plus 2 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital environment.
Level III requires an Associate’s degree in a technical or scientific field related to the area of assignment plus 4 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital environment.
