Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati’s Blue Ash College invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor of Political Science with the possibility of renewal. The appointment is intended to begin in August 2025. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for teaching multiple sections of the standard Political Science introductory course, Introduction to American Politics. Additionally, the Department of History, Philosophy, and Political Science seeks candidates whose specialties can complement the department’s strengths in fields such as but not limited to diversity, sustainability, community, and gender.

Prior to effective date of the appointment, all of the following:
* PhD in Political Science or a closely related field
* Two academic years of teaching experience which must include at least one survey course in American politics and both online and in-person teaching
