|Posting Summary||Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Per Diem Work Assistant (Medical Interpreter) to work in the HOPE Clinic in Plainfield, NJ. The Health Outreach Practice Experience (HOPE) Clinic is a community service – learning program of the Rutgers School of Health Professions Physician Assistant (PA) Program. Through HOPE, faculty and students provide free health services to undeserved an uninsured populations. The Work Assistant (Medical Interpreter) will provide Spanish-English interpretation and translation for patient care. Individual will be expected to interpret/translate verbal and/or written communication in-person, by phone, and via other virtual devices. Individual will work with practitioners who are not able to speak Spanish and are providing services to patients who are not able to speak English. Interpretation and translation must comply with medical office policies and procedures including but not limited to professional behavior and patient confidentiality.
