About the role
Reporting to the Conservation Agreements Manager, the Administration Officer is part of the Legal team and is responsible for delivering efficient administration of legal processes at Trust for Nature.
The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure timely project management of the end-to-end conservation covenant registration process and ongoing administration of conservation covenant processes.
You will also be responsible for document creation, data entry and reporting, inbox management, file maintenance and supporting the Legal Counsel and legal team with general administration tasks.

This is an ongoing full-time position based in Melbourne CBD, with the opportunity for work-from-home arrangements. The team works together in the Melbourne office on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
The role offers a full-time base salary range of $60,000 – $65,000 p.a., plus superannuation. Offer will be commensurate with experience.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring;
- Proven ability to prioritise and complete tasks accurately and on time
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, managing competing priorities with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated, high-level attention to detail with proven commitment to accuracy and experience in delivering a diverse range of administration tasks to a high standard
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and constructively within a team environment, leading and contributing to achieve objectives
- Highly developed IT skills in particular in MS Office Suite and Salesforce
- Experience or an understanding of the legal sector, land resource management or property law/conveyancing – highly regarded but not required
