Including reviewing and advising on any upgrades.
In addition to the digitisation role, the Senior technician will be the main contact for samples collected from the rapid diagnostic service (RDS) into the Biobank. This will require an understanding of the pathway, clear and accurate communication with the RDS team and organising transfer/recording samples for projects.
The post-holder will also manage the organisation of the Biobank’s freezer parks. This includes supporting audits, ensuring samples have been stored in their correct location, allocating space and liaising with Biobank Manager on future resource requirements.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years.
